At Hello! Mr. Thompson, we believe that knowledge and understanding are essential in providing the best support and coordination services for our participants. This week, we had the incredible opportunity to participate in a training session hosted by Acon, (pridetraining.org.au) aimed at increasing our knowledge of diverse genders, sexualities, communities, and health priorities. Led by the wonderful Hannah, this training opened our minds, enriched our perspectives, and deepened our commitment to inclusivity and support.
The primary objective of the training was to enhance our understanding of people with diverse genders and sexualities, their unique communities, and their specific health priorities. Hannah, our knowledgeable and empathetic teacher, guided us through an engaging and enlightening experience.
